Transfers came around so quickly! But good news... I'm not having another baby. Thank goodness! I did get transferred out of precious Diamond Bar though. SO SAD I know. It was like leaving home all over again. I didn't cry once which impressed me but it hasn't actually hit me yet that I am not going to see some of these people again for a while.
I am now planted up in the desert, in the Apple Valley Zone. I will covering two wards... Mojave Narrows and the Ridgecrest YSA. YUP young single adults... lol. It will be an adventure. Sister Castelo (whom I already know and love) and I are companions and are white washing in both of these wards and are called to be Sister Training Leaders. So we have our work cut out for us these next few weeks! #prayforme
Sister Crane and I finished off our time in Diamond Bar with lessons with all our investigators. A is really progressing. He is half way through the Book of Mormon. He said that he has this feeling in his heart that it can be true he just needs to know more. We had a great discussion about the Plan of Salvation on Saturday and he said he had the same feeling. So hopefully I hear a baptism being planned soon. T also had a good lesson and discussion. We gave him a church tour and watched the Restoration video and it went well. He had some interesting points of view but I just think he doesn't have a huge religious perspective so everything is very temporary in his life and so it is hard to think eternally. That can change real quick if he lets it in.
It was hard to leave the area over to other sisters but I know and believe so much in revelation through the priesthood keys and I know that President Taylor will only do what the Lord would have him do. My work is finished in Diamond Bar and now it is starting in the desert. I am excited and have so much faith that I am going to learn so much from so many people up here!
I JUST LOVE MISSIONS AND BEING A MISSIONARY!!!!
WOMENS CONFERENCE WAS BOMB!!!
All I have to say is.... FOURTH FLOOR LAST DOOR! We cannot give up when we feel like nothing is happening. The Lord is aware of us. We need to have more faith and trust in God. Faith is not to change the will of God but to empower us to act upon Gods will.
Have a beautiful week!!
